The Kryger Institute of Plastic Surgery was founded by doctors Gil and Zol Kryger, talented surgeons who are not just partners but brothers and best friends. The Krygers descend from a line of highly-respected surgeons: their grandfather, a general and orthopedic surgeon; and father, who began his career as a plastic surgeon before transitioning into anti-aging medicine.

Born in Winnipeg, Canada, the Kryger brothers moved to California at an early age while their father pursued plastic surgery training at Stanford University. The Krygers spent their teenage years surfing and studying. At age eighteen, they volunteered to special forces units in the Israeli Army where they served three years. Following their service in the military, they attended the University of California at Santa Barbara, graduating with numerous awards and honors. They went on to attend medical school and residency at several prestigious academic centers.

Gil Kryger is married with two beautiful daughters. His interests include aesthetic surgery, breast reconstruction, hand and microsurgery.

Zol Kryger is married with two energetic young boys. His interests include aesthetic surgery, breast reconstruction, and complex abdominal hernias. Both are highly committed to their patients and are accepting consultations at this time.
