Insurance Policies

At the Kryger Institute of Plastic Surgery we welcome all patients. Many of the procedures we offer are covered by insurance. Our office accepts most PPO insurance plans as well as Medicare. Furthermore, we are contracted with the major insurance carriers, including Medicare. We also accept worker's compensation, as well as several HMOs. We perform surgery at many facilities, and we are almost always able to find a hospital or surgery center that will accept your insurance plan. Please note that we do not accept MediCal.

Our in-office billing specialist, Jaime, will do everything possible to work with you and your insurance company in order to obtain insurance coverage for your procedure. Remember that even if your insurance carrier covers your procedure, there may be a co-pay that they require of you.

If you are undergoing cosmetic sugery and you do not have any health insurance, you will be offered temporary emergency coverage through CosmetAssure. You will have the peace of mind knowing that in the event of any emergency related to your surgical procedure, the majority of your medical bills will be covered.
