The Brow Lift is a cosmetic surgery procedure that improves the appearance of the forehead by reducing common, unwanted signs of aging and lifting a heavy, sagging brow to a more youthful position. Specifically the brow lift can reduce those horizontal lines and creases across the forehead and the horizontal lines on across the bridge of the nose. It can reduce the appearance of vertical frown lines and can raise the brow to reduce the appearance of a hooding over the eyelids.

During the brow lift procedure, you’ll be put under general anesthesia or IV sedation. The brow lift incision can vary a little depending on the needs of each patient. In an endoscopic incision, there is a camera at the end of the tiny tube that is inserted and much smaller incisions made inside the hairline. The endoscopic brow lift is slightly less invasive, and best for those with less work needed to achieve their desired results. The traditional brow lift, or coronal brow lift, is performed with an incision that runs from ear to ear inside the hairline. Both procedures hide any incision scars within the hairline so you aren’t left with visible scars.

After the procedure, swelling and bruising is normal but subsides in the days and weeks following as you heal. To learn more about the brow lift and to find out if it may be right for you, contact our office to schedule your consultation today.
